Based at our Epping depot, Darren has worked as a concrete pump operator for 30 years, spending 27 of them with Camfaud.
As he prepares to retire later this year, we wanted to recognise his contribution to the business. His experience, professionalism and approach on site have made him a highly respected operator among colleagues and customers.
🏗️ What pump do you operate?
“I operate a Putzmeister M24. Its four-section boom provides a maximum vertical reach of 23.6 metres and a maximum gross horizontal reach of 19.7 metres.”
🚧 What has been your most memorable project?
“One that stands out was working on a royal estate, placing concrete for the foundation of a new gallery.”
💬 What do you enjoy most about working at Camfaud?
“The variety. Every day is different and you never quite know what type of site or job you’ll be heading to. That keeps it interesting. I’ve also worked with a lot of great people over the years.”
