All of our concrete placing booms and pumps are mounted on Mercedes trucks. We have standardised for ease of maintenance and have selected Mercedes as their trucks are robust enough for our rather specialised application. Over the years we have developed a close working relationship with our truck supplier S&B Commercials. When a new Putzmeister or Schwing pump is purchased, it is immediately put on a full repair & maintenance contract with S&B to ensure that the truck is kept in good, safe working order and that pump utilisation is kept as high as possible.
In addition to the Mercedes trucks, we also run a fleet of vans for our service engineers. Each van is equipped with air conditioning, a tow bar, additional rear lighting and the back doors are finished with high visibility marking strips that meet Chapter 8 Highways Maintenance rules. The latest vans are also fitted with a vehicle tracking system to help us notify customers of anticipated arrival times as well as to deter thieves.
