The Federation of Plastering and Drywall Contractors (FPDC) now known as FIS, have announced nominations for The FPDC Plaisterers’ Awards 2012 and Camfaud can claim to have contributed to all of the projects nominated in the Screeding Award. The Progressive Group have been nominated for their screeding contract at the Shangri-La Hotel situated on floors 34 to 52 at the Shard.
We are pleased to have supplied the mobile concrete pumps, pump operators and pipelines for this contract where we pumped Gyvlon flowing floor screed up to approximately 175m vertically. The other two nominations in the screeding category are; CSC Screeding for their work at the ArcelorMittal Orbit in the Olympic Park and Roseville Contracts for screeding at the Library of Birmingham.
We pumped the concrete floors for Carey Group plc at the ArcelorMittal Orbit prior to CSC Screeding laying the screed. We also supplied concrete pumps to AJ Morrisroe who built the concrete frame at the Library of Birmingham.The winners of the Plaisterers’ Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held at Plaisterers’ Hall on the 5th February 2013.
