Keith Sweeney
We are sad to announce the passing of our colleague and friend Keith Sweeney in December.
Keith joined Camfaud back in September 2015, however, he worked closely with many at Camfaud prior to this during his time working with Mercedes.
Keith will be fondly remembered by many of his colleagues, and we will all miss his presence in and around the Epping yard.
We send our condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.

This week, we hosted a great learning and engagement session at our Epping facility with @TfL Capital Construction Management where we discussed various topics related to pumping concrete including risk, environmental considerations, working safely and incident prevention to name a few.
We discussed how we support their supply chain to deliver their works with our specialist equipment including how we like to be engaged early, how our concrete pump hire equipment works and most importantly explained and demonstrated our commitment to safety and why it is so important to us. We were also excited to show them M36 iONTRON and introduce our Eco-pan equipment, which not only helps the environment but also improves our operations.

Latest editions to Camfaud's fleet
Introducing the latest additions to Camfaud's fleet - two Schwing 36SX Razors and a Schwing 24m boom. These new additions mark a significant milestone for our fleet with a total investment of £8 million in new machinery scheduled for 2023, followed by another £8 million in 2024.
The new 36SX Razor has variable outrigger geometry (EASy flex) and the new 5 section boom configuration, making it one of the most versatile machines currently available for hire in the UK. It is ideal for interior floors and for accessing the side of buildings. It has exceptional flexibility in its outrigger set up options, whilst still maintaining its ability to pump high volume pours and challenging concrete mixes. Training - CPD Course
Advances in construction technology moves at quite a pace, and concrete pumping is no exception to that rule. The challenge comes in keeping ahead of new servicing, diagnostics and repair requirements to ensure we maintain our exceptional levels of safety, reliability and availability.
One of the core values of the Camfaud Group is investing in people through continuous personal development (CPD), and that is why we asked one of our key UK suppliers to help us get up to date with the latest pumping technology. With nearly 50% of our mobile and static fleet being manufactured by Putzmeister, who better to approach for some technical training support. They were only too happy to oblige, and arranged a bespoke 2 day course, delivered at their Chesterfield head office. The feed back from the Premier team was excellent, with everyone coming away having thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience.
