Gull Wing Bridge project

When Main Contractor Farrans Construction needed to pour over 600m3 of concrete into the Cofferdam Base, for Pier 5 on the Gull Wing Bridge project at Lowestoft, Suffolk, there was only one supplier to call. Camfaud supplied 2 identical 65m mobile concrete pumps to ensure full coverage of the pour from both pump locations. Another well planned and perfectly executed pour from the UK's leading mobile pump supplier.

What a great achievement!

Nicola Paine is a senior member of the Epping hire desk team and on Sunday 23rd of April she managed to complete the London Marathon. She was Inspired by her dads memory, who sadly passed away with cancer at the tender age of 49. Nicola raised over £3000, with family friends and work colleagues all supporting her through this trial of stamina and mental strength.

New Putzmeister 36m iONTRON pumping on zero emmissions.

This high profile project involved several elements, including a new cafe slab and retaining walls for a new tunnel access going under the busy Exhibition rd. This will enable safe, easy access to the Museum site, which attracts about 5 million visitors a year. Part of the biding process to secure this prestigious contract involved meeting net zero goals for the construction phase. This was under-pinned by the banning of diesel on site, so when PJ Carey had to pump concrete in, they called on Camfaud for a mobile pump that would meet the project requirements. The new Putzmeister m36 iONTRON plug in hybrid proved the perfect tool for the job. Once plugged in to a suitable power supply, the pump runs on Zero emissions and has the added benefit of also being quieter than its diesel equivalent. Pictured is the first of several visits for the iONTRON, which we are pleased to say, went exactly as planned. 

Punjab Utd win the Kent FA senior trophy 6-0

Punjab Utd triumphed over Deal Town 6-0 in the final of the Kent FA Senior Trophy Final on Sunday 16th April 2023. Pictured are members of the team and management of Punjab Utd with Camfaud MD Tony Faud and Camfaud National Sales Director Adrian Sprake. Camfaud are the main sponsor of Southern Counties East, Premier Division team Punjab Utd. who play at the Elite Venue Stadium, Gravesend in Kent. New Mobile Concrete Pumps for 2023

The 4 new pump units pictured represent a £1.4 million investment into the latest pumping technology from Putzmeister and Schwing. The M36 iONTRON is the first plug in hybrid pump of its type available for hire in the UK. This new technology offers sustainability options to help our customers reach their net zero goals.
