An increasing element of Camfaud's workload is the construction of high specification apartment blocks. Many of these developments are reinforced concrete frame buildings where most of the concrete is pumped. Others are steel frame buildings featuring composite floors with concrete being pumped onto a metal deck or pre-cast concrete planks. Whichever method of construction and specification of concrete is used, Camfaud can supply a pump suitable for the job. We can also provide additional pipeline and a linesman, if required.

We still have a large demand from traditional house building sites where pumping provides a quick and efficient means of placing concrete into foundations and onto ground floor slabs. As well as new build work, we are called upon on a regular basis to pump small quantities of concrete for house extensions and refurbishments. Camfaud has a number of "City Pumps" that are ideal for these contracts. With the pipeline that is carried as standard, we can pump concrete to the most inaccessible areas. We regularly pump along driveways, through garages, over walls and across gardens.
