Pumping concrete at Hackpen Reservoir
April, with it’s longer hours of daylight and increasing warmth, brings the flowering of acres of oilseed rape plants across the country. As it is this time again, we thought we would post a couple of photos taken last year at Hackpen Reservoir in Oxfordshire. This kind of work, deep in the English countryside, is a pleasant change for our operators (and the mixer truck drivers too, for that matter) who find most of their activity is in our, often congested, towns and cities.
